CHEMICAL PRICES AND AVAILABILITY
Not much has changed on prices of finished chemicals for water and wastwater treatment.
Demand for these chemicals has not reduced in the industry, and as other industries orders dropped plant capacity was reduced or plants were shut down, therefore the availability of these has not changed appreciabily. Transportation costs have gone down but shipping prices have not been reduced as evidently shippers are trying to make up losses from earlier fast rising costs. At this time, the only good news is that prices are fairly stable and not rising daily.
